Day 1:
Arrival at JKN airport, and transfer to the hotel, and spend overnight at Ramada Encore Hotel.
Day 2:
After breakfast at the hotel, a journey to Mikumi National Park starts. It is a 7-8 hours’ drive, along the road you will have a chance to enjoy some fascinating features like sisal plantations, landscapes, observing and experiencing local people daily activities, etc. you will spend your night at Tan-Swiss Lodge.
Day 3:
After breakfast, you will go for a full day game drive at Mikumi National Park, when your inside the park, you will have an opportunity to experience the beauty of the nature, animals like lions, buffalos, elephants, giraffes, hippos, antelopes and different varieties of bird species can be spotted. The herds of African cape buffalos can easily be spotted wallowing on the mud swamps just few metres away from the main gate. Overnight at Tan-Swiss lodge.
Day 4:
Early in the morning, after taking your breakfast, and packed lunch, you will be driven to another destination, Ruaha National Park, the Southern Circuit “Serengeti”. This will be 8 hours’ drive along the great Southern Highlands road. Some significances features along will be observed. You will have dinner and spend your night at Ruaha Hilltop Lodge.
Day 5:
After breakfast,
Enjoy your full day game drive at Ruaha National Park, lunches will be packed for you to take it in the bush at a special designed picnic areas. The park is well known to have a quiet large number of Lion’s pride and African hunting dog packs, buffalo herds, crocodiles, and other species of animals and birds.
Day 6:
A trip back to Dar starts early in the morning, overnight at Peacock Hotel.
Day 7:
After breakfast at the hotel, you will catch up a boat and cruise to the ‘spice island’ Zanzibar, upon arrival you will be picked up by our representative, and heading for a city tour. The tour starts from the stone town of Zanzibar, where you will visit the most historical and the most interesting places in town such as Zanzibar Museum, Former slave market, prison island, busy food market in the city, House of wonders, Old Fort, The Sultan Palace, Dr. Living Stone House and the Harbor for Dhows. Finally you will take a leisurely walk through the narrow streets of stone town. You will have lunch in one of the restaurants in the town. Then you will be driven to the resort hotel, you will spend the rest of your day relaxing on beautiful sandy beaches while watching sunset.
Day 8:
On this day you shall do the Spice Tour after early buffet breakfast then the tour takes you to the country side to visit some plantations such as root crops, spices, perfumes, medical plants tropical fruits and flowering trees. It is a tour that will prove why Zanzibar is referred to as “SPICE ISLAND”. You will also get a chance to visit Kidich Persian baths built in 1850 by Sayyid Said bin Sultan, the first Sultan of Zanzibar. You will have a chance to have lunch prepared from very fresh food items in a restaurant close to the plantations. In the afternoon drive to the airport for a flight to Dar es salaam Airport. On arrival being picked up and then transfer to Ramada Encore Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 9:
After having your breakfast, you will be picked up from hotel and transferred to JKNIA and catch your flight back home.
