Mount Kilimanjaro National Park

Snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania just south of the equator is the highest point of Africa and one of the highest freestanding mountain in the world, rising to 5,895 metres (19,340 feet) above see level. Kilimanjaro is located near the town of Moshi and protected area, carefully regulated for climbers to enjoy  without leaving a trace of their presence.   The mountain’s ecosystems are as strikingly beautiful as they are varied and diverse.

Machame, Marangu, Mweka, Umbwe Lemosho, Rongai and Shira are famous and official trekking routes used to ascend and descend.  Machame route is consider to be the most difficult one among the all seven. Rongai and Marangu are the easiest and comfortable route but they are normally crowded and busy.
